Bethel United Methodist Church has been conducting an Apple Butter Boil for several years. The proceeds from this endeavor have been returned to the community to help in the many projects of the church.
It is spearheaded each year by Dave and Brenda House. Members and friends join in the peeling apples and then the next day, they boil the apples and put the apple butter in jars.
They are for sale through the church and local organizations.
